Bravo!! Najee Rising Sun is a winner. I was impressed when I discovered that Najee, Chris “Big Dog” Davis and James Lloyd co-produced this project. The first track Clarity flows and has great energy. Najee went south on us with the selection Brazilian Affair. The Bossa Nova groove makes you want to get on a cruise ship and chill your worry’s away. Najee also plays his second instrument the flute on the track Child at Heart (the melodic sound will take you away). My favorite is Romance the Night with Phil Perry on vocals need I say more. You will love Najee’s version of Moody’s Mood for Love with the flavor of Chris Big Dog Davis on keys. Mentioned were a few tracks on Rising Sun but the others makes this cd complete. Add this cd to your collection.
