It’s early in the year and I want to predict that Paul Brown’s “White Sand” will in the top 5 of the hearts of smooth jazz fans in 2007. Paul’s genius, creativity and a host of friends have put together a classic for your cd collection. When you crack open this cd and put it in your player, out comes an assortment of fun, romance and pure pleasure. You can feel the warm ocean breeze and the soft gentle sand under your feet when you hear the title selection White Sand. Paul guitar and Al Jarreau vocals on the track Makes Me Feel So Good is my favorite. Paul and Al must have had a great time putting together, it’s so happy and up spirited. In the spirit of the great Cannonball Adderly, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy is covered with Bobby Caldwell doing vocals. This selection will give you old timers 70’s flashbacks. I have always loved I Say a Little Prayer, Paul included this song preformed by Lina. This I know will be a favorite to the listeners of my radio show. This cd is loaded with talent with the likes of Euge Groove, Rick Braun, David Benoit, Boney James, Jessy J, Lina and Al Jarreau.
